Springy Things

More bits of Spring are continuing to creep their way into our home. I love LOTS of green, white, ceramic birdies, nests and eggs. I raided my "spring" bin in the basement and pulled a few things together to try and create a spring-themed tablescape.

Here's try #1:

Major FAIL! haha. I wanted to use the reindeer moss I had but didn't care for it piled around the tray like that. I felt it looked too messy and cluttery.

So I grabbed some glass containers I had sitting around for Try #2:

I had clear glass cork-topped container I put most of the moss in, and then a glass cloche where I used the rest of the moss under some wooden eggs.

I like the birdie and faux clover paired underneath the glass items for a well-tiered, balanced look.

In the back, I placed an extra egg on the platter. It's a beautiful silver tray that was Mike's Nana's. I love that piece!

Okay, I'm officially ready for Easter!
